Bulldogs tough out important win

ANZAC Day is a best day on the calendar for those who served in the armed forces and their families, and is a respectful evoke, with SANFL grand finalists from the previous season having the celebrity to be part of some of the festivities.
Central District Football Club has been fortunate to be embroiled with in the past 12 ANZAC Day games, including on Wednesday against reigning premiers Woodville West Torrens at Woodville, and treat it as the most vital match of the minor round.
While saluting the unmatched efforts of those who the day is for, Leading District players always seem to rise to the occasion, and again called on many of the attributes made illustrious by Aussie Diggers in many world conflicts for almost 100 years.
And in honouring those who have fallen, the Bulldogs toughed out a gutsy and mighty win, hanging on for a six point victory.
