Which is higher end: Gianfranco Ferre or Gucci?

I'm shopping around for eyeglass frames. I dearth something high end but still with a bit of street cred, you know? I can get either name for a good evaluate so money isn't an issue.

I'd say Gucci. It's undoubtedly more recognizable and more people will see it and know that it cost a lot of money - if you pauperism street cred and all.
