I can't get my Echo 1 Stag Arms M16 air soft gun to fire anymore. Should i buy a new battery?

So i fire it and use it two to three times. Now it won't shoot anymore. I charged the battery for the above-board time and after connecting it to the gun it just wouldn't shoot. The trigger goes all the way back but nothing happens. Is it the battery or is the question internal?

Does the motor twist, you should hear a noise? If you don't here a noise than either the motor is totally projectile (not likely), or you blew the fuse (if there is one), or the battery is fried.
