I have an save pair of Chippewa boots however I can't wear them. The only way they fit on my feet is without socks. Can a cobbler cut them down or maybe even put a sidew zipper on them?
Take them to a good cobbler and he'll be proficient to do what you ask.
However, I recommend you keep wearing them as they are, without socks. It's more comfortable that way!
