FRANCE: Lacoste licensee to recruit 200 production staff

Lacoste 's worldwide free choice holder, Devanlay, is hiring more than 200 production staff in France as part of the label's relaunch.
The recruitment drive, which began several weeks ago and will continue over the next two years, represents an addition of 20% in Devanlay's global workforce. The posts being created report to all aspects of Devanlay's activities from dyeing to garment-making, the followers confirmed to just-style.
As well as being a response to growth in demand at Lacoste, the recruitment slate is also designed to strengthen Devanlay's production capabilities in order to aver and develop its expertise in garment-making, the company underlined.
Devanlay, which has an annual total business of EUR1.4bn, operates eight producton sites in France, all of which are set to benefit from a significant investment protocol.
Lacoste is 65% owned by the Lacoste family and 35% by Devanlay. Lacoste also holds a 10% at risk in Devanlay, which is 90% controlled by Swiss distribution group Maus Frères.
