Cowboy boots, a fit for everyone

That cowboy boots are on flourish from floor to ceiling at every
venue of the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo certainly isn't a
rock - it is after all a stock show catering to the ranching
and agriculture industries.
Cowboy boots, however, aren't obviously for cowboys and friends,
and the popularity of the Western-style boot continues to increase in interest,
according to Chuck Paulson, general merchandise manager of RCC
Western Stores, one of many boot sellers displaying their
merchandise at this year's investment show. He said business is better
than it has ever been.
"We see that in our stores from North Dakota to Florida,"
Paulson said. "The cowboy boot is something that is in the final analysis tangible
to our culture and a meaningful part of our heritage. The boot
business will be even stronger this year than last, and last year
was one of the upper crust Western boot years in our history. In spite of
the economy, the Western calling has been relatively good."
A part of the equestrian lifestyle for centuries and popularized
by the American cowboy, the cowboy boot has evolved into a smashed similar of
footwear that offers a little something for everyone.
